Programs

For more than a century, the cornerstone of Services de santé de Genève has been our residential program for girls between the ages of 12 and 18. Established in 1895 as a home for unwed mothers, we continue to provide the only licensed residential mother/infant and maternity care for teenagers in Geneva.

Today, however, maternity care is but one aspect of our program's gender-responsive treatment. We also offer comprehensive behavioral health treatment that recognizes and responds to the unique needs, challenges and strengths of girls and women.

Cradles to Crayons
This innovative "discovery skills" program offers assessments of both infant’s and toddler’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Planned activities directed by a caregiver allow the child to learn and achieve knowledge at his/her own rate and method. Children may explore, discover and evaluate, contributing to independent thinking, accomplishment, problem solving and environmental awareness. Before and after care programs are also available.
