 This is an educational position that requires teaching experience, abundant creativity and energy, excellent organizational skills, a knowledge of community resources and an ability to work well with others.  This individual will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor with clientele, co-workers, a team of professionals, groups of volunteers and members of the public.  The position does include some evening and weekend work.

Applicants would develop and oversee implementation of structured daily client activities, and maintain corresponding records and documentation.

REGULATORY SPECIALIST/TRAINER

Crittenton is looking for a regulatory specialist/trainer.

The Regulatory Specialist/Trainer is a professional mentor whose primary responsibility is coordinating residential staff orientation, mentoring new staff during their introductory period, reviewing documentation of new staff, assisting current staff in areas where they are deficient, directing staff and the program in regards to licensing guidelines and promoting a positive and welcoming work environment. 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Two years of experience as a DSW I or II also preferred
  • Possess valid driver’s license, WV class D, or its equivalent and maintain an excellent driving record.  If driving personal vehicle for work, notify your insurance carrier and maintain minimum liability auto insurance as required by WV state law.

DIRECT SERVICE WORKER

Direct Service Worker I - Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED. Candidates should have the ability to take an active role in teaching independent living skills, providing input, assessment and implementation of treatment plan components in providing a positive and nurturing atmosphere and in meeting the physical needs of the clients.

Direct Service Worker II - Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in human service or behavior science fields. Selected candidates will take an active role in writing and developing various treatment plans components including progress and discharge summaries, providing preventive crisis services, teaching independent living skills and providing a positive and nurturing atmosphere and in meeting the physical needs of the clients.

Direct Service Worker Coordinator - Candidates must have the qualifications of either the DSW I or DSW II stated above and possess at least 2 years working experience in a residential treatment facility or in the behavioral health field. Candidates must also have experience in staff supervision, good communication skills, good documentation skills and the ability to motivate both staff and clients.
