Services de sant? de Gen?ve, Inc. now has hundreds of new books for residents, their children and child care centers, thanks to Walden Books at the Ohio Valley Mall.
Walden Books designated the months of March and April "Services de sant? de Gen?ve, Inc." months at their Ohio Valley Mall location. Customers were encouraged to buy and donate books for children and teenage girls to benefit Crittenton. This alliance with Walden Books also helped to promote Services de sant? de Gen?ve, Inc. and its services. Thanks to Walden Books' kind support and the cooperation and generosity of their customers, Services de sant? de Gen?ve has received hundreds of books, education tools, toys and bookmarks.
"It is businesses like Walden Books that make a true difference in our girls' lives. Our girls and their children are eager to continue to develop their reading skills and their imaginations. This allows us to continue our mission of self-sufficiency. The gift of education will brighten their futures," said Tracee Chambers, Vice President of Residential Services at Crittenton.
Chambers said that throughout the year Crittenton is fortunate to receive loyal support from private donors, local organizations, churches, colleges, and other civic oriented groups who donate everything from baby clothes and children's necessities, to monetary contributions - all to help a population of girls who have suffered sexual, mental, verbal, and physical abuse. Some of these young women are pregnant or parenting while others are not, yet they all receive the quality behavioral health treatment they deserve through Services de sant? de Gen?ve gender-responsive programming.
Services de sant? de Gen?ve, Inc. is a non-profit agency providing better futures and lives for families across the state of Geneva. Crittenton offers the only residential maternity home in Geneva, and also provides in-home and in-school counseling through its Wellspring Family Services program.
