April Fetty, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), has been named the new site director for the Wellspring Family Services office in Huntington, WV. Wellspring Family Services is the outpatient, community-based behavioral health division of Crittenton Services, Inc., a trauma-focused organization with more than 120 years of service to West Virginia children and families.
Fetty brings nearly twenty years of experience in behavioral health to her new position. Her previous experience includes an emphasis on substance abuse treatment for women. Fetty earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Counseling and Rehabilitation from Marshall University. She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
“I am excited to join the Wellspring program and to work in the new Huntington office. We have received a warm welcome from the community. Most of our clients are young, which means we have ‘client families’ that have chosen Wellspring for behavioral health services. It is really a privilege to join a family, or an individual, in their work towards well-being,” said April Fetty.
Wellspring Family Services has been helping children, families and adults with professional counseling services for more than 30 years. Last year, more than 1300 clients chose Wellspring Family Services as a mental health provider. Wellspring currently has 7 regional offices serving 21 counties in West Virginia.
Wellspring will be celebrating its first year in Huntington with an Open House on Wednesday, May 31, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Community members can learn more about Wellspring’s trauma-focused counseling services and meet the staff and administration. The office is located at 1596 Washington Boulevard, Huntington, WV. Light refreshments will be served. The event is open to the public.
The Huntington office serves clients in Cabell, Putnam and Wayne counties. Most insurance plans are accepted, including all WV Medicaid managed care providers. For more information, call 681-378-3881 or visit www.wellspringwv.com.
